Character Description

Good hearted and dependable, Lariel is often willing to help, allies and strangers alike - although she is slow to trust others, especially people she haven't met before. She is especially fond of her druid allies - the way she sees it, they have much in common when it comes to tending to the nature, although her focus is more on the Elements and the Spirits. Lariel is closer to the Water Spirit, feeling comfortable in places with lots of water - but one shouldn't make the mistake of thinking she doesn't ask the aid of the other Elements too, seeing as she can be quite versatile when in danger.

Having a hatred of most orcs, due to the past of her race and the Burning Legion-alligned ones, she doesn't see the Horde as a menace. Willing to put aside race differences to work for the good of Azeroth, Lariel feels displaced in the ever-continuing conflict between them and her allies of the Alliance. There's something about the orcs and Outland she can't quite put together though...

Lariel is proficient in Common, making some occasional mistakes every often - mostly, she refers to herself in the third person. That aside, she is able to communicate herself well, even while forgetting some of the "harder" human names for things/places.

Character Biography

Chapter 1: The early years
Lariel was born in the shining city of Shattrah, single child of a Vindicator and an Aldor Priestess, although being born in the city never prevented her of having contact with the nature. The young draenei loved venturing into Zangarmarsh, where she lived most of her simple life until the Burning Legion came to Draenor. She watched helpless while her father and mother where killed by the vicious orcs during the siege of Shattrah.
Fleeing to the marsh, she lived among the other refugees, helping out as best as she could, with a desire for revenge consuming her heart. She was about to leave the town of Telredor to meet certain death (she was going to hunt orcs for blind revenge) when she saw the prophet Velen arrive, in the company of a Broken.

Chapter 2: Shaman
Lariel had only heard the rumors about that Broken, about how he could make the elements help him. With the wrong intention at first, she stayed in the small town, and listened to Nobundo, and more importantly, she learned. She wanted more, so she quickly joined the few draenei who were also interested with Nobundo's displays of knowledge about the elements. He knew the true reason why Lariel was training, but instead of turning her down, Nobundo helped her channel her will into something that would help more their people, and so Lariel was cleansed of her blind hatred. As she learned, killing the ones responsible for her parents' deaths wouldn't make them as proud as they would be if they could see all the help she was now able to provide their people.

Chapter 3: The Exodar and Azeroth
Joining the draenei led by Velen to take on the Exodar ship, Lariel faced many dangers aboard the ship, but could do nothing regarding the crash. The young shaman lost her memory of everything before the event. She only remembered her first name and some rudimentary shaman training. As she traveled Azeroth, helping the new allies found within the Alliance, she re-learned the shaman way, displaying a natural affinity with the elements, especially water.

Chapter 4: Present
The now experienced shaman had reached the remains of Draenor, now called Outland, to continue helping with the Alliance campaign. After visiting many places, especially Shattrah City and the Temple of the Aldor, a feeling of familiarity awakened in her. She couldn't explore it much though. Moving on the the cold Northrend, Lariel once again faced many dangers in the name of her people and the Alliance, quickly becoming a known champion of the Kirin Tor and the Argent Crusade, the last one granting her the status of Crusader, as she is mostly known. While still relatively young, Lariel has shown that there is no age to master the Restoration and Elemental ways of the shaman. She aids allies and strangers in the battle against the Lich King, but that feeling of familiarity about Outland has recently started giving her strange dreams of a young draenei...

Out of Character Notes

Healer or Caster DPS (Restoration/Elemental dual specced).

I consider myself more of a casual player. That said, I raid often, and enjoy instance runs - I am quite picky regarding tanks when I'm healing though (just a precaution - been to some really bad pugs). That said, you can ask people around about my healing. As for DPSing (I've got an Elemental spec), I'm usually more open to group composition. But don't let that get in the way! Feel free to whisper me in game, and we'll see. =) Same regarding to professions (Enchanter/Tailor).
